Criminal Mischief: A Penn State auxiliary officer reported damage to a glass window Saturday in the Health and Human Development Building, Penn State University Police said. The damage is estimated at $500. Fraud: A visitor found $350 at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday near Porter and Hastings Roads. Penn State University Police said the money was counterfeit and will be turned over to the United States Department of the Treasury. Theft: A staff member reported that a laptop computer was stolen at about noon Friday from a storage closet in South Henderson Building. The incident occurred between Aug. 14 and Oct. 14, Penn State University Police said. The laptop's value is $300. Theft: A student reported that his iPod was stolen at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday from the Nittany Lion Inn staff locker room, Penn State University Police said. The incident occurred between 4 and 10:30 p.m. Friday. The iPod is valued at $299. Theft: A Sanyo flat screen, a Sony TV and a DVD player were stolen sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday from Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, 329 E. Prospect Ave., the State College Police Department said. The total value of the items is $770. Theft: A blue Cannondale bike was stolen sometime late Thursday or early Friday from an apartment at 925 Bellaire Ave., the State College Police Department said. The bike is worth $300. | ||||
