After reading the "Monster madness," Oct. 25 article, I have to wonder why it was actually published. I highly doubt that anyone on this campus believes in werewolves, vampires or Frankenstein's monster, and the closest thing anyone's ever seen to zombies around here are the unfortunate students trudging to 8 a.m. classes after drinking until 5 a.m. So I don't see the point in an article about "debunking" the various myths.
Now, I do know why the article was written, it was supposed to be a funny article to go with Halloween. The problems is, it wasn't funny. It was bland, dry and uninteresting as a whole. Frankly I think the article as it was written was a waste of newspaper space.
