While the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate President Andy Banducci said this year's attendance at USG Senate and committee meetings has been acceptable, USG Vice President Luke Adams disagrees.

Chris Harrell played in zero games last season, so he can't do much commenting about how bad things went on the field. He can't talk about the frustrations of playing on the conference's best defensive unit and having only two conference wins to show for it.

Though it seemed probable that last Saturday's struggle between then-No. 16 Penn State and then-No. 6 Ohio State would be a defensive battle, in the days leading up to the game, there was a lot of talk about the explosive offensive players on both teams.

Penn State teams have been proving all weekend that a strong defense is crucial for success against quality opponents.

Looking up into the stands before the start of the Penn State men's soccer game Friday night vs. Northwestern, Christoph Ascherl saw a variety of people ducking under umbrellas. But the freshman forward from Bruehl, Germany, was only looking for two in particular -- his parents.

LB Posluszny honored for third straight week

For most teams, home-field advantage is a benefit they get all the time. For the Nittany Lions, it is a rare experience -- and when they get it, they try to make the most of it.

It's been two full years since Penn State students had the option to spend part of their winter break with the football team. After winning their sixth game this season, the No. 8 Nittany Lions (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) football team are eligible for a trip to a postseason bowl game.
