The State College Police Department is looking for a 40-year-old State College woman who has been missing since Saturday.
Police do not suspect foul play in the disappearance, and State College police Sgt. Mark Argiro said police do not believe Ulicia M. Gage committed suicide, and they are pursuing the investigation at her mother's insistence.
Gage, of 512 E. College Ave., has not been seen or heard from since Saturday, when her mother found a note at Gage's home indicating that Gage would not return, police said.
She is white, about 200 pounds, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with light brown hair and brown eyes, and she has several teeth missing, police said. A photograph of Gage was not available yesterday.
Argiro said Gage is listed as an endangered missing person because her family believes that she may be a danger to herself. However, he would not comment on Gage's health.
Gage does not have a driver's license or a vehicle, he said, and police have not determined what transportation she may have used.
Argiro said police believe she may be wearing a blue jacket because it was not found in her apartment.
No further information was available yesterday, and police would not release Gage's mother's name for additional comment.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150.
