If one of our sports teams can be ranked 16th in the nation, can we manage to swing a functioning e-mail system ("Loading problems plague Webmail users," Oct. 3)?

The recent problems with the Webmail system, when dealing with a campus of thousands of people, add up to a big annoyance. Sitting in a classroom of 800 students is challenging enough. Losing the ability to e-mail teachers is unacceptable.

Sixteen is more than our ranking now; it's also the amount of minutes it takes me to read a single e-mail.
