Letter to the Editor
All acts can be seen as potentially racist

In response to Jack Vickrey's letter, "Columnist should not apologize for views," Sept. 30, I was very offended that he referred to Brittany Moore as "she." How dare you use her gender to describe her.

I've never seen such sexism in a letter to the editor before. Please, use a better choice of words when referring to Moore. But be careful, when describing her, please don't use and words that might give a description, as they might cause you to be labeled incorrectly.

Does anyone else understand the actual definition of racism (that a race is superior to another), and not some misconception (that racism is mentioning one's race when describing that person) perpetuated by people like Thomas Mei?
