I'm writing in response to Monday's editorial ("Irresponsible groups illustrate need for new HUB no-show policy," Sept. 26).
I am involved in a PSN-TV show and last year we occasionally reserved rooms in the HUB to shoot scenes. On three separate occasions, we arrived to find our room locked and dark. When we went to the desk to ask for help, we were sent on a wild goose chase across several floors to find the person who had the key.
These adventures left me with a decidedly negative impression of the HUB's room reservation system. While I am certainly not defending the groups who abuse the reservation system, HUB administrators need to improve their system.
Being a "respectful and deserving group" is apparently not enough to guarantee space.
