Letter to the Editor
Protesters should be praised, not ridiculed

I praise the protesters of The Da Vinci Code film and I praise God for them ("Protesters oppose new 'Da Vinci Code' film," Sept. 13). Their brave action to stand up in a culture where truth has no rights -- except the right to remain silent -- is a great act for the glory of God.

The film will have devastating affects on millions of Christians; it will instill doubt into their consciences, and therefore add to the mountain of despair in the modern world.

The attack on the three main theological virtues that bring man happiness (faith, hope and charity) is a crime against the common good of the individual.
