I just wanted to say nice job Collegian for dropping the ball on this one. I had faith that the Collegian would actually cover the anniversary of the shooting on the HUB lawn (Sept. 17, 1996) that left senior Melanie Spalla dead. It is a tragedy that will probably never be surpassed at Penn State, ever.

You guys act like you are some sort of demi-gods because you publish a newspaper. Stop being so elitist.

You actually used the word "shooting" in a headline about gas prices in Friday's paper.
