Letter to the Editor
Problems with eLion typical, aggravating

Despite having been a student here for four years, the university's disregard for its students still surprises me.

Each semester when Honors students try to schedule classes on eLion, the server crashes almost immediately and is often disabled for the rest of the night.

The students' desire to schedule hard-to-get classes as soon as possible should not be a great surprise, but Information Technology Services (ITS) is apparently unconcerned and apathetic about the problem.

It is ridiculous that ITS cannot cope with these scheduling requests when they know exactly what to expect.

For all of the tuition that students pay, I think we are owed more than ITS' disrespect.
