I was appalled at Saturday's football game when a section of fans started cheering "We are ... Penn State" while there was an injured player on the field.

It was even more appalling when the cheerleaders encouraged this behavior. This is not acceptable, whether it be one of our own players or a player from the opposing team. We trust the cheerleaders to act appropriately, and I hope that proper behavior is practiced in these situations in the future.
