[ Wednesday, August 31, 2005 ] Today's University Park forecast After Katrina wreaked havoc along the Gulf of Mexico dealing both structural and psychological damage to millions of people, Pennsylvania will now have to cope with the much weaker remnants of the storm. After thunderstorms rumbled through the surrounding region last night, the threat for severe weather will continue until the afternoon. While tornadoes are a possible threat, strong gusty winds and heavy rain will be much more noteable. As conditions clear overnight, good weather lies ahead.
