Letter to the Editor
Athletes' behavior needs improvement

Dear PSU football team: I beg you ... please stop with the funny business. Bow and arrow incidents and harassing phone calls? We are at a fork in the road right now, and we need to take the high road.

"You need to be doing it better and cleaner than the next guy" (to borrow from Top Gun) and keep the shenanigans to a minimum, keep our playmakers on the field and win football games.

The alternate low road is where you make dumb decisions that hurt yourself, others, and more importantly the team and the school. We aren't that talented (yet) and you cannot afford to have our best players off the field. Step up and restrain from the moronic move you are about to make, that way you can be there on Saturday morning to play in the game and hopefully save this program. I cannot keep convincing people PSU is back when you are making fools of yourselves. We don't get much positive press now as it is, and I don't like seeing the only PSU article on ESPN.com talking about suspensions.
