[ Wednesday, July 27, 2005 ] Today's University Park forecast To beat the heat, Pennsylvania must take the showers that are ahead of the cold front moving in today, which will be welcome in the many rain-deprived areas of the state. Showers are certain to keep things damp in central Pennsylvania today, and thunderstorms are also very likely. Temperatures will cool down significantly after the front moves through. Skies will remain mostly cloudy for the remainder of the week. For the rest of Pennsylvania, the western half of the state is at the highest risk for thunderstorm activity tomorrow, while the eastern portion will remain sizzling hot during the day before residents feel the relief of lower temperatures after nightfall. -- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service Today: Mostly cloudy to start the day, with showers and
thunderstorms moving in during the afternoon. High 82 Previous Day Summary Almanac Monthly Climate Summary Sun Data
