Today's University Park forecast
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will prevail through the end of the week
and into the weekend. A high pressure system will continue to build over
the Atlantic Ocean, preventing the remnants of Dennis from moving out of
the Ohio Valley. This will result in a chance of thunderstorms each
afternoon, possibly causing some problems for the Central Pennsylvania
Festival of the Arts, but don't expect a complete washout. Clouds will
keep temperatures in the low to mid 80’s, but it will feel much warmer
due to high humidity. Be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
