Letter to the Editor
Get priorities in line when opening mouth

I am writing in response to Bill Bucko's and Kyle Fischer's letters in Wednesday's paper, where they said they were "disgusted" by the Collegian's coverage of pro-anorexia Web sites and Ron White's comedy, respectively.

First, to Bill Bucko: You read a story about Web sites that are advising young people to starve themselves to death, and you're disgusted by the usage of the "F-bomb"? Get your priorities straight.

First of all, I think that putting light on the ideas presented by those sites is much more important than the foul language on a picture in the Collegian that you must have used a magnifying glass to see.

Second of all, we're in college now. Grow up. I think that we're all mature enough that we can use/see the word "fuck" without throwing a hissy fit.

Next, to Kyle Fischer, who was "disgusted" by Ron White's apparently sexist comedy act.

Kyle, my message to you is simply this: Pull the rod out of your ass and stop trying to suck the fun out of a comedy act with your politically correct bullshit.

It's comedy, i.e. jokes. They're not to be taken seriously.
