To the kindhearted members of the Penn State community, we would first like to thank you for all of your condolences and prayers as we are going through this horrible tragedy. It is with your help that we are able to help the victims of Sunday's events.
The residents of 500 E. Beaver Ave. lost all of their possessions in the fire including all of their musical instruments. The residents practiced with their band in their basement at least once a week. Their instruments were damaged due to extreme water damage and flooding. Music was their passion, and the loss of their instruments, amps, etc., has left them unable to continue their passion for music, an outlet for expressing emotions. We would like to ask if anyone has old instruments and amps they would be willing to donate to the victims of this traumatic event. All instruments, amps, or electrical equipment will be so greatly appreciated.
Any donations toward this cause may be dropped off at 508 E. Beaver Ave., located right next to 500 E. Beaver Ave. and Hetzel Street. Again, we would like to thank all of you who have been so generous in your thoughts and actions.
