I'm deeply saddened by the fire that occurred in the community this past weekend.

Though I did not know Christopher Raspanti personally, my heart goes out to the family, friends and housemates of this distinctly remarkable human being. In addition to expressing my condolences, the purpose of this letter is to find out how the Penn State and State College community can assist the victims in this incident.

I have several textbooks that I would be willing to offer to those who may have lost theirs in the fire. Thank you, and my prayers are with all who need them. Stay strong.
