Black Plymouth Neon reported stolen

A 1997 black Plymouth Neon was reported stolen on Saturday from the 100 block of South Pugh Street, the State College Police Department said.

David Mock, 22, of Roaring Springs, told police he left the keys in the ignition and the doors unlocked. His credit card was also in the car, but no there were no activity records, police said.

The vehicle was stolen sometime between 9:18 and 10 p.m.

State College Police Sgt. Mark Argiro said police have no reason to think Mock's vehicle might have been towed.

The Pennsylvania license plate on the stolen car is ECZ-5144.

Anyone with any information on this case is encouraged to call State College police at 234-7150.

Police cite two for umbrella incident

A 20-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were cited for disorderly conduct at about 11:20 Saturday night in connection with an incident outside Shandygaff, rear 212 E College Ave.

Both individuals were standing outside of the bar waiting to get in and engaged in an argument over the use of an umbrella, State College Police Sgt. Mark Argiro said. The individuals did not know each other.

The argument led to physical contact in which the woman suffered a cut above her right eye and the man suffered a bloody nose, police said. The individuals did not receive any medical treatment.
