Today's University Park forecast
The pleasant weather over the past three weeks will come to a sudden end
this weekend as a powerful storm dominates the weather over the eastern
third of the country. This system will combine with a surge of cold air
from Canada to bring wet weather and cooler conditions to the region.
This storm is expected to affect State College on Friday night and
Saturday with heavy rain. As the cold front passes Saturday evening,
lingering showers may mix with snow flurries over the ridges. This storm
is expected to stall out over Quebec, keeping our area cloudy and chilly
into the beginning of next week.
