I just wanted to thank Timothy Auman for his letter describing the atrocities of domesticating animals ("No real difference between circus, pets," April 18). I'll never view the "quasi-fascist" propaganda of Animal Planet in the same way again. It inspired me to embark on a personal journey of pet liberation.

I will not rest until all animals are free to scurry up game in serendipitous meadows. Perhaps other students will join me in a rally at the steps of Old Main for a mass liberation. All pet owners are free to attend an opportunity at amnesty by releasing their oppressed animals into the wild.
