Nice to see human story in Collegian
I would just like to comment on the article written about the tragedy that Mike Jacober, the men's lacrosse team, and the university has been forced to recover from ("Pressing on," April 14). The article was beautifully written to showcase what seemed to be a loving, caring, and supportive family. The story brought tears to my eyes, but also a smile; it was nice to read such positive things about a family and how supportive the team has been of its captain. The family and friends of the Jacobers may never find or accept a reason for why such a thing occurred. Let them know, however, that they have the support, thoughts and prayers of hundreds of thousands of students, faculty, staff, alumni and townspeople. Thank you Collegian for providing us more than just the cold, hard facts and dedicating a portion of the paper in honor of the Jacobers. Andrea Casher
