Police searching for Snappy's robber

The State College Police Department is looking for a cigarette thief.

A suspect robbed Snappy's, 535 University Dr., at about 5 a.m. yesterday and took 44 cartons of cigarettes after breaking the glass out of the store's front door.

Thirty of the cartons were Parliament brand cigarettes and 12 were Marlboro Ultra Lights, according to a State College police press release.

Police said they did not have a total value estimate.

The suspect is described as wearing dark pants, a gray, hooded sweatshirt and a white shirt with tan boots.

He was driving a dark-colored vehicle with aluminum wheels, according to the press release.
