Three cars had items stolen from them overnight Wednesday along Whitehall Road, the State College Police Department said.

Two of the cars had their doors forced open and the third had a window broken with a rock, Sgt. John Wilson said.

Three cell phones, valued at $350 total, were stolen from the vehicles, Wilson said.

The incidents are being investigated and may be related because they all occurred in the vicinity of the 600 block of Whitehall Road, Wilson said.
