Six of seven people arraigned last week on drug-related charges waived their preliminary hearings yesterday at Centre County Courthouse.
Shauna Foss, 25, Kenyon Ebeling, 36, Nicholas Oswald, 25, Joseph McGlaughlin, 36, Trista Shope, 24, and Michelle Sopp, 20, all waived their preliminary hearings. Their pre-trial conferences are scheduled for May 19.
Taji Lee, 24, had his hearing continued until May 4 because his attorney, Ron McGlaughlin, was unavailable to represent him at the hearing due to some "paperwork problems." Lee is being held in Clinton County Prison in lieu of $1.5 million dollars due to his drug-related charges.
Lee was charged with nine counts of possession with intent to deliver, one count of conspiracy, one count of money laundering, four counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of drug delivery resulting in death, according to court documents.
