Film Follies showcases work tomorrow
News in Brief

A group of graphic design students with an eye for the interesting and an emphasis on teamwork will present this year's annual Film Follies at 8 tomorrow night in 121 Sparks.

All of the short films run from two to four minutes and showcase the work done by graphic design majors in a class dealing with time and sequence they took last semester.

"There are between 30 and 40 very quick little projects," said Design Association secretary Christie Repcheck (senior-graphic design). "We have programs that give the audience descriptions of each one and a lot of the work was done in groups so we all have between two and six pieces in the show."

While the subject matter of each piece varies, the show has been popular in the past and a good way for graphic design majors to demonstrate work they've done. Repcheck said that the show will run no longer than an hour and should appeal to everyone.

"'Come to Follies, No Excuses', that's our slogan this year," she said.
