Two men in heroin case waive hearing

Two men who were arrested for allegedly injecting two sisters with heroin in January waived their preliminary hearing yesterday at the Centre County Courthouse, Bellefonte.

Derek Schalk, 23, and Nathan Rohrabaugh, 20, were arrested last Thursday in connection with a Jan. 5 incident in which a 19-year-old female was found unresponsive in a parked vehicle in the HUB parking deck.

Schalk was charged with delivery and possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and recklessly endangering another person. Rohrabaugh was charged with possession and intent to deliver heroin and corruption of minors because he also allegedly injected a 16-year-old girl with heroin.
