I was appalled when I read The Daily Collegian Monday to find out that vandalism had occurred on campus to numerous buildings ("Graffiti mars 20 campus locales," March 28).

It comes as a shock to me that individuals would like to leave their "mark" at Penn State in such a manner.

Penn State is and always will remain true and dear to my heart as well as many other students. I can only hope that no other instances like this one occur in the future.

"May no act of ours bring shame to one heart that loves thy name." So for those who are responsible for the "tagging" that occurred, I ask that if you want to make a "mark" at Penn State do it through positive mediums "for the glory of old state."
