Police Log

Theft: A backpack was stolen from the HUB-Robeson Center between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Thursday, Penn State University Police said. The backpack contained an engineering textbook, a calculator and a Verizon cell phone. The total value is estimated at $325.

Theft: Two university moneybags containing $300 total were stolen from the Mateer Building between March 4 and March 7, Penn State University Police said. A staff member reported the theft and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Theft: A 9-week-old rat terrier was stolen Saturday from Wild Side Pet Shop, 258 W. Hamilton Ave., the State College Police Department said. The dog is white with black spots and brown markings around the head and is valued at $500.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
