Today's University Park forecast
Old man winter hasn’t given up yet. Today, rain will spread across Pennsylvania throughout the day. In the Northern half of the state, however, snow will be mixed in at times. The snow will be very wet, and is not expected to accumulate on roadways, but a slushy mix could build up on grassy surfaces in the evening. The storm system will exit the region overnight, but a decent amount of cloud cover will hang around during the day on Thursday. Another series of disturbed weather will swing into the state this weekend, but it looks as if temperatures will be above freezing for the duration, limiting precipitation to rain.
