Leaving Schiavo die not trampling weak

What would it be like to see your loved one living a life that's not fulfilling? I think I'd be dying with pain.

For Terri Schiavo's husband, that's what he's been doing for past 15 years. I love how Rachel Smith made him sound like a cold, bloody murderer. My friend discussed this matter better than I can.

"Michael Schiavo was quite correct when he pointed out that these lawmakers haven't met Terri," a point Jon Stewart repeated on The Daily Show.

"They don't know her. They're just parroting the lines of her conservative, Catholic parents.

"It's an issue for the fundies, since the gay-marriage ban is dead. God forbid Congress actually did something worthwhile."

Oh, and I don't think we're tramping the right of the weak. Trampling the right of the weak is going into Iraq, not this.
