Police Log

Theft: Several items were stolen from an unlocked apartment at Cedar Lofts East, 711 E. Beaver Ave., at about 4:16 a.m. Saturday, State College Police said. The stolen items, valued at more than $1,000, included a laptop computer, an iPod, stereo and multi-disc CD player.

Assault: State College Police said a man was assaulted by an unknown man outside of Mad Mex, 200 S. Pugh St., at 3:07 a.m. Saturday. The victim sustained a laceration to the inside of his upper lip, police said. The suspect was identified and charges of simple assault will be filed, police said.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the bicycle rack near Geary Hall between March 13 and Friday, Penn State University Police said. The Schwinn bicycle is valued at $800.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
