The State College Police Department is investigating two thefts that occurred at Sears Roebuck & Co., 2999 E. College Ave., on Thursday and Saturday.

Witnesses described a woman with blonde hair driving a tan Nissan Maxima and parking in the department store's fire lane, police said.

In both incidents, a man then exited the vehicle, entered the store and grabbed an armload of clothing. The man then returned to the vehicle, which pulled away.

On Thursday, the man took an unknown amount of Lands' End clothing between 5:20 and 5:25 p.m.

On Saturday, the man grabbed about five Carhartt coats, valued at $85 each, between 2:50 and 5 p.m.

Police confirmed the incidents are related.
