Theft: The State College Police Department said a Husqvarna Viking Designer I sewing machine and embroidery unit were stolen at about 7 p.m. Wednesday from a stock room in Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts, 505 Benner Pike. The total value is $6,500, police said.

Theft: A student reported to Penn State University Police that his iPod, North Face jacket and Motorola V-600 cell phone were stolen from the Intramural Building between 8 and 10 p.m. Wednesday. The total value of the stolen items is $760, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
