Today's University Park forecast
The winter blast that has gripped the region this week will continue
through the weekend. Persistent flow from the northwest will provide
frigid air, despite the increasing sun angle. As high pressure settles
in, winds will die down on Friday, and the sun will make an appearance.
Although no major storms are expected in the near future, a series of
weak “clippers” will bring a chance of snow early Saturday, and again
late Sunday. In between these systems, skies will only partially clear
and gusty winds will keep wind chills in the single digits; so bundle
up!
