Junior women's gymnast Lisa Clark has been named the Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Week, conference officials announced. Clark shares the weekly award with Cara Pomeroy of Illinois.
It is the first league honor of Clark's career and the second for Penn State this season.
Freshman Lindsay Borkan was honored on Feb. 2.
Clark recorded the highest all-around score of her career (39.325) to claim the individual all-around title in a victory against Ohio State on Saturday. The junior was honored with the Ann Carr Award, given to the individual with the most inspiring performance of the meet.
Clark took home the vault title with a 9.800, the seventh time this season that she has finished among the top four gymnasts in the vault.
She set a season-high on bars with a 9.800 and tied her career high and finished second on the beam (9.825), an event in which she has only performed once in competition this season. She also took home the floor crown with a 9.900, her second-highest score of the year in the event.
