Today's University Park forecast
After a tranquil weekend, a series of potent storms will move through the area this week. The first of these systems will move up the East Coast today and into tonight, bringing moderate accumulations to much of Central Pennsylvania. The snow will subside briefly late tonight before the next system begins to affect the area on Tuesday. Light snow will fall during the morning commute before tapering to scattered snow showers by the afternoon. Total snow accumulations through Tuesday are likely to be on the order of 6-10". Snow showers will linger on Wednesday with cold temperatures remaining throughout the week. This pattern is likely to persist as yet another storm is possible late in the week.
