Police Log

Assault: State College Police responded to an incident in which two men jumped out of a vehicle and attacked another man at about 4 a.m. Saturday on the 700 block of West College Avenue. The two men, who were local construction workers, were caught by police and cited for harassment.

Assault: Charges are pending in a case of two men assaulting another man at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Beaver Avenue. The victim sustained a black eye and cuts on his hand, police said.

Burglary: Two antique swords with gold handles were stolen from Phi Delta Theta fraternity, 240 N. Burrowes Road, last weekend, State College Police said. A fire alarm was also damaged. No damage estimate was available.

Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen from Rec Hall sometime on Friday, Penn State University Police said. The phone is valued at $300.

Theft: Three snowboards were stolen from Tussey Mountain Ski Resort, 301 Bear Meadow Road, during the weekend, State College Police said. One board valued at $540 was stolen sometime Saturday. Two boards, one valued at $340 and another with an unknown value, were stolen Friday evening.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
