Letter to the Editor
Label of hate speech opposes Christianity

The Collegian once again demonstrated hypocrisy; while condemning Chris Kovalchick for "hate speech," the Collegian has published four days of letters in which it lambastes him and calls him every name in the book.

The real motivation behind this character assassination is not a hatred for Chris Kovalchick, but rather a hatred of Christianity, which condemns the homosexual lifestyle.

While we would never say that homosexual people "don't matter" or that they are not "real people," the church has historically condemned the homosexual lifestyle as destructive to the individual and homosexual behavior as vile and perverted.

The Collegian's consistent message to Christians is that if you don't accept our views on homosexuality, you're a bigot. What ever happened to tolerance?
