Musicians perform traditional music at the Touch of Africa Festival, sponsored by the African Student Association, at the Penn Stater Hotel. The festival was held Saturday night and featured a dinner that included native foods, music and clothing. the Touch of Africa celebration hoped to educate the public about the occasionally misunderstood African culture. The celebration started 20 years ago to give African students a sense of community. The event was open to students from several area schools.
