Chance of flurries in the morning, then mostly sunny
        and chilly. High 24.
Today's University Park forecast
The snow squalls were caused by lake-effect snows off of Lake Erie. The flurries and snow showers will continue through this morning, but will give way to sunshine and colder temperatures by the afternoon. The mercury will plummet through the night hours bringing us our coldest weather since the start of February. Sunny and dry conditions will persist through Sunday afternoon, before our next significant system moves into the area. Accumulating snow will fall Sunday night, changing over to a wintry mix by morning. A switchover to rain will occur during the afternoon on Monday.
