I am writing in response to Chris Kovalchick's letter to the editor. It is clear that you think gay people are "disgusting and pathetic." If your goal was to tell the Collegian that they should publish things that you feel make a difference, then that was clearly overshadowed by your hatred for gay people.
Also, there are significant numbers of gay people dancing in Thon this year, a cause you find more deserving of attention.
Clearly your feelings toward gay people go beyond just the public displays of affection on the front page of this paper, since you used such language as "a bunch of queers" and "a group of people who are nothing short of disgusting and pathetic." I wonder then, what do you think about gay people who this weekend are dancing in Thon and involved in other organizations on campus?
Are they disgusting and pathetic as well?
I am disappointed that someone who was formerly in a leadership role on campus has pitifully used this issue to divide the student body that you were supposed to serve.
