First off, let me sincerely commend the Collegian on having the front-page photo of the same-sex kisses. I am proud to go to a university that isn't afraid of diversity.
The rest of this letter is in reference to a letter printed yesterday, written by Chris Kovalchick.
What next, Chris, Mexicans kissing on the front page?! You silly, silly bigot. I am not even gay and your letter was one of the most offensive and absurd pieces of trash I have ever wasted my time reading. Maybe you didn't get the memo, but we live in the year 2005 -- not 1955. Maybe where you come from it's a pastime to go around and harass people for being a girl or being of a darker complexion than your own or for being (gasp) gay.
But here in the enlightened and educated world, we frown upon that sort of thing. Here in the real world, gay people aren't considered disgusting, pathetic and offensive; people like you are.
