I'm not a very eloquent person, but I am a person with feelings, and not without surprise, what I read in the Collegian today left me speechless. I, like much of the rest of the LGBTA community, was extremely hurt by the publishing of Chris's letter regarding the Kiss Out on Monday. I've never seen anything so blatantly hateful, biased, and lacking a basis in truth in the Collegian, and I am disappointed that you chose to publish it in your paper. I am fully aware that a front-page picture of the sort may have offended some closed-minded and hateful people, but it in no way deserved a response like that. This was an act of hate an intolerance, and should not have been supported by the Collegian.
