Letter to the Editor
Readers respond to ‘hateful’ letter about photo

In response to yesterday's hate letter about homosexuals, I would like to add that not only are homosexuals a part of everyday life, they are also people trying to strive for excellence in our society. Just because they do not fit the "norm" they are definitely still people and deserve credit and respect just as much as any heterosexual person or couple. The fact that we let someone such as Chris Kovalchick with his narrow-mindedness be a "leader" at our campus is outstanding to me. People like him need to realize that times are changing, and if you can't deal with that then you are going to have a hard time adjusting to the life ahead of you. The last time I checked we were all created equal.
