A Penn State employee charged with misusing a university credit card had his preliminary hearing waived yesterday at Centre County Courthouse, Bellefonte.
According to court documents, Adam Fogelsanger, 34, of the 700 block of Toftrees Avenue, is charged with access device fraud after he allegedly used his Penn State-issued credit card to purchase about $9,542 in non-business related items between Dec. 23 and Jan. 5
Penn State University Police arrested Fogelsanger on Feb. 8, and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 19.
A Penn State student who was arrested for drug related offenses last Friday had his preliminary hearing delayed at Centre County Courthouse yesterday.
Kevin Kleine, 20, of the 100 block of Orange Alley, will have his hearing March 23.
Kleine was arrested Friday by Penn State University Police and State College Police, and arraigned by District Justice Brad Lunsford on charges of delivery and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
Kleine also faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, according to court documents.
Three of 11 Penn State students arrested Jan. 21 during a drug sweep by the Centre County Drug Task Force and Penn State University Police waived or delayed their preliminary hearings yesterday at Centre County Courthouse.
Benedict Hilldorfer IV, 20, of 403 Locust Lane, waived his hearing. Hilldorfer is charged with four counts of delivering marijuana, two counts of marijuana possession and two counts of using a telephone to facilitate a drug transaction. A pretrial conference is scheduled for May 19.
Brian Alexander, 20, of 1013 S. Allen St., had his preliminary hearing delayed until April 6 because he was unavailable to appear in court. Alexander is charged with two counts of delivering cocaine, four counts of delivering marijuana, one count of possessing cocaine and two counts of marijuana possession. He is also charged with two counts of using a telephone to set up a drug transaction.
James Shelby, 21, of 215 W. Fairmount Ave., had his hearing delayed until March 16 because additional charges may be filed. Shelby is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver psilocybin mushrooms, one count of possession of psilocybin mushrooms, using a computer to facilitate a drug transaction and criminal conspiracy.
