USG Senate chooses elections officials

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate spent last night's meeting preparing for USG elections on March 31.

Senate elected Shawn Gordon to be the elections deputy commissioner for special counsel.

The selection of a deputy commissioner for information technology remains to complete the committee, Head Elections Commissioner Diana Maxham said.

She added she is very confident in her team members, and the election packets, which contain information on the campaign and indicate a student's intention to run, which will be available before spring break.

Senate also approved the $2,500 budget for the upcoming elections.

Senate just met quorum at last night's meeting with an attendance of 13 senators.
