Penn State wrestler Eric Bradley has been named the CSTV: College Sports Television Student-Athlete of the Week, personifying excellence both on and off the playing field. Bradley's honor was announced Thursday evening within CSTV's The 1 College Sports Show and will be featured on CollegeSports.com, the online component of CSTV, for the week. He is now in contention to win the CSTV Student-Athlete of the Month award, which is selected through votes cast by visitors to CSTV's CollegeSports.com Web site.

Eric Bradley hit the mat and ended last season claiming Penn State's 16th Big Ten title and compiling an overall record of 36-5. Bradley was highly sought by college recruiters from his hometown of Plaistow, N.H., but back injuries kept him from competing in Penn State's wrestling program until the 2003-2004 season, his junior year. Making up for lost time, this being his second collegiate wrestling season, Bradley ranks fifth in the nation, competing in the 184-pound weight class, and is 22-3 overall.
