Both sexes involved with abortion choice

To Allen Boyd ("Men don't have right to speak on abortion," Feb. 11), abortion is an issue that affects each and every person.

In fact, I would say that men are as much a part of the decision as women are.

A quick lesson in biology for you: For a woman to get pregnant, and present the possible desire for abortion, there has to be a man involved.

So, instead of complaining about how men care about the lives of innocent babies, why don't you and every other man stop and think about the consequences before you have sex next time.

If men would start taking responsibility for their actions -- supporting the mother if he gets her pregnant -- there wouldn't be a need for abortion.
