WEATHER
[ Friday, February 11, 2005 ]
Mostly sunny and continued breezy.
Today's University Park forecast
Yesterday’s cool-down and snow flurries were due to a strong Nor’easter which affected much of New England, some receiving as much as a foot and a half of snow. The system has moved well offshore but is still causing blustery conditions across the eastern half of the state. Another weak disturbance will bring a chance of snow flurries for early Saturday. Conditions will vastly improve for Sunday as temperatures rebound significantly and skies clear. The next weather-maker will move in overnight Sunday, bringing the likelihood of showers while continuing our early spring-like trend.
